Advanced Imaging for Real-World Wells
The ProxyViz borehole camera delivers clear, reliable imaging for demanding down-well inspections. Each camera captures 1080P video and 11.9 MP still images, with autofocus and a 120° wide-angle lens for sharp, detailed viewing in close well and downhole inspection environments. Advanced HDR imaging is tuned for low-light, high-contrast conditions, helping reveal more in dark wells.
Media is recorded digitally as H.264 video and JPEG stills, while integrated pressure sensing and IMU data provide added inspection insight. Built from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, every camera is rated to 250 m (820 ft), pressure-tested beyond that depth, and designed in a compact 39 mm diameter for easy access in typical well casings.

Smarter Control for Better Inspections
The ProxyViz hand controller is a compact, high-performance control center for well inspections. Its 7" IPS daylight-readable touchscreen provides a clear, interactive view of live footage, while a quad-core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A72 processor at 1.5 GHz delivers fast, responsive operation with hardware-accelerated HD video encoding and decoding.
Running a Linux-based embedded system optimized for inspection use, the controller features intuitive software, on-the-fly video annotations, and user-accessible USB and network ports. Media is saved directly to a USB drive, while a high-speed Ethernet link provides reliable real-time communication with the camera. A removable sunshield improves visibility in bright outdoor conditions.

The ProxyViz deployment system is designed for fast, simple setup in the field. Each system comes fully equipped with essential features to eliminate complex configuration choices. Reel can include an integrated level wind, depth encoder, pipe hanger, and adjustable brake, paired with a 5 mm polyurethane-jacketed tether reinforced with Kevlar and IP69-rated connectors for durability in harsh environments.
All systems include quick-swappable battery packs and a fast charger to keep inspections moving. Weighing under 40 lbs, every system is true one-person portable. For transport and protection, the Pro and Ultra packages include a rugged hard carry case with a custom foam insert to keep everything organized and ready for deployment.




PHOTOGRAMMERTY
The ProxyViz borehole camera’s 1080P digital imaging and high-intensity LED lighting capture sharp, evenly illuminated images throughout the well. This image quality allows users to take overlapping frames that can be processed using photogrammetry software to reconstruct the well structure. By combining hundreds of frames, the software generates accurate 3D point clouds and digital models of the well interior. These models provide a powerful way to visualize, measure, and document well conditions with far greater detail than traditional inspection methods.

VISIBILITY ENHANCEMENT
The ProxyViz borehole inspection system uses its onboard real-time processor to apply advanced haze filtering during inspections. This feature helps reduce visual noise caused by suspended particles in the water, improving clarity in cloudy or disturbed wells. By digitally enhancing contrast and filtering scattered light, the system reveals structural details that would otherwise be difficult to see. The result is cleaner, more usable inspection footage, even in challenging water conditions.
