CENTERING SKID, 40MM-360MM

The ProxyViz Centering Skid keeps the well camera properly positioned in the center of the pipe during inspection, improving image clarity, lighting balance, and overall inspection consistency. By preventing the camera from contacting the pipe wall, it helps maintain a stable viewing position and protects the camera body during deployment.

The skid uses four stainless steel spring bands that gently bow outward to guide the camera down the center of the pipe. These flexible bands provide smooth, low-friction guidance without the complexity of wheels or moving parts.

The skid is manually adjustable prior to deployment and supports pipe diameters ranging from 40 mm to 360 mm. Operators simply set the skid configuration to match the expected casing size before lowering the camera, ensuring proper centering throughout the inspection.
